My laptop is just repair but the laptop clock can not update and the time will stop when i shut down. why??

example, when i shut down at 10pm, then the time will remain 10pm until the next time i start, is it the cmos problem. what i should do change the cmos battery, but how to change it it very simple or??|||there is a small battery, which control motherboard cmos time and date (it might be under the laptop, where ram placed for most of the laptop). it%26#039;s called comos battery 2032, it needs to be replaced to fix this problem. it%26#039; cost only $5

J|||open it up thereis a little coin battery inside, replace that.|||Bad CMOS battery won%26#039;t hold the clock settings when you shut down
