How to disable the bootup password without removing the cmos battery?

i tried to change the password for a pc. but unknowingly something happened with the bootup password. Its not entering the bios also. Without opening the system how can i change or remove the password for tat?|||If the problem is that you dont know the password your only solution is to power down the pc, uplug from the wall, hit the power button once to discharge the built up power in the power supply and then open the case and remove the cmos battery. let it sit for maybe 15 minutes or so and put the battery back in and start the machine back up. at this point your bios settings will be set to the manufactures defaults. either you can run with those if it is a newer machine, if not you will probably have to go into the bios and reconfigure.

If you have the boot password then its as simple as entering the bios and disabling the setting that specifies using the password to begin with.|||it has to enter bios. maybe your delete key is broken.|||At start up, see who the BIOS manufacturer is. Google manufacturer default BIOS passwords. There are some that will allow you into the BIOS, it depends on how old your system is.
